REMINDER - Halloween Party - This Saturday October 10, 2009, 12:30 to 4:00 PM
Our
Halloween Bash at the Beach and Annual Meeting is Saturday
October 10, 2009
from 12:30 to 4:00 PM. Don't worry if you haven't sent an RSVP, just come
anyway. There is always lots of food and we are going to have lots of fun, a
costume contest and lots of Cavalier games. We have a huge selection of prizes
which we will use for the next few years. When you win you can pick from a box
and find something you would like in your "color" of Cavalier. We have
mugs, tiles, luggage tags, note pads, etc.

PET FILM FESTIVAL & GIFT SHOW - Saturday, November 14, 2009 - Blaisdell
We
were contacted by the organizers of this show, Hawaii Pet Magazine, and we will
have a booth at this show and would like volunteers to come and spend some time
in the booth. This is only a one day show. Following is a brief note sent by the
organizers. There was an article in the paper a few days ago as well. Please
let me know if you would like to do booth duty with your Cavalier. Hours
are from 10:30 to 4:30 and we would like to have as many of you as possible to
come and enjoy sharing your information on our fabulous breed. Even if you can
only spare an hour, please come.
"Hawaii Pet Magazine and PacificNetwork.tv have teamed up to
present the 1st Annual Hawaii Pet Film Festival & Holiday Gift Show, to
be held at the Neal Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall on Saturday, November 14,
2009 from 10:30am - 4:30pm. The event will feature the best and brightest local
pet videos, a spectacular video awards ceremony with celebrity guest judges, pet
fashion shows, film themed pet costume contest, vendor booths, demonstrations,
costume contests and fun for the entire family!
The Hawaii Pet Film Festival &
Holiday Gift Show supports responsible pet care and local pet inspired
businesses, and will be donating a portion of the proceeds to local pet
charities. The event will also be heavily promoted in local daily newspapers,
radio shows, TV news, online and throughout the community."
CHRISTMAS COOKIE EXCHANGE AND WALK
AROUND THE PARK - Saturday, December 5, 2009
We have a permit for our 3rd Annual Christmas Party to be held at our usual park, Waikiki Playground from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please put this on your calendar now and we hope to see you there. This party has been a great success with our Cavaliers in Christmas finery and so many wonderful cookies to exchange and taste. More later.
