Cavaliers at the Hawaii Kai Dog Park  

On Saturday, April 4, quite a few of those beautiful Cavaliers just about took over the small dog section of the Hawaii Kai Dog Park and had a wonderful time. There was also a farmer's market in the parking lot as well as a recycling truck, so we could all get quite a few things done in addition to having some great companionship with our Cavaliers.  It seems as though this is quite a convenient park for many of our members so we would like to see if it would be fun to have regular informal get-togethers there, perhaps one Saturday morning for some or during the week for others. Kap Richards has agreed to be the Coordinator for this. If you would like to participate, please call her at 732-7570 or send her an email at kapr@hawaii.rr.com

Another Dues Reminder

Still waiting for 2009 dues for about 30 members. If you can't remember whether or not you paid your dues, send me an email.

Pet Expo - Saturday and Sunday, May 9 and 10

We are fully staffed for Saturday with members enough to take breaks, but we could use a few more for Sunday. If you would like to spend a little time in the booth, please contact Brigitta Roberts at 286-3609 even if you can just spend a little while. The members in the booth could use some breaks. Please come and support Pet Expo sometime that weekend and bring your Cavalier as it's a good cause and it's a lot of fun.

Cavalier Cookbook

I received the following email through the parent club. If you have a recipe why not send it on and get in the cookbook!

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of So AZ is putting together a “doggie” cookbook. Please send us your dogs favorite treat, biscuit or homemade dinner recipe along with a photo of your dog and we will include it in our doggie cookbook. Puppies

There are two male Blenheim puppies available on Maui. Jesse James, a beautiful Blenheim male owned by Earlette Santos-Vida is the stud. If you are interested, please contact Earlette at mydoggezrock@gmail.com. A friend of Earlette's has the female and bred the puppies.
